Day 604: Annual Vet Visit

A few days after my last post, we stopped having Butter on her cone. It was too hard to look at. She was on the cone for over a year and since my mother was off from work for awhile, she stayed at home all day and looked after Butter, transiting her from wearing cone to not wearing one at all. She still itches and kicks her own skin, but it's manageable and definitely don't require a cone. We tried the Dermacton cream I mentioned in my previous post but unfortunately it makes her itch even worse. I don't think it's the ingredients of the cream, it's probably just feels icky on her neck since there's something sticky and creamy on it. We stopped using it after a few days, but one thing we discovered is that it made her fur grow back on her neck. We were so amazed! We will definitely want to use the cream again, but probably on days when there's someone at home to look after her. So it's vet day today. We went simply to check on her ALT and ALKP leve
